The entire 15 mile round trip is truly along the shoreline on trackage built by the Boston, Concord and Montreal Railroad in 1849. This was well before the land explosion on New England's most cherished and valuable shoreline. Pass through condominium developments a mile long, private summer homes that have a private pedestrian crossing to reach the water, their boat dock and watercraft as well as right down the 1/2 mile boardwalk at Weirs Beach..
